We bring more than just professional qualifications to the table. We've been through our own growth journeys, and it shows in our approach. We’re all about strength training, but not just for looks. We want to help you figure out your true strength potential.
Ready to push your limits? Or maybe you're just looking for some structure to your programming. Either way, we're your go-to people. With us, your workouts become something more than just burning calories and getting a sweat on. Instead, it’s a process towards feeling stronger, more confident, and physically capable of achieving more.
THE STORY BEHIND ESSENTIAL STRENGTH
MEET YOUR COACHES
Hi I’m Kim, I’ll be leading most of the 1:1 sessions including consultations and taster sessions as well as helping everyone with mobility, nutrition and membership management.
“I completely changed careers to become a personal trainer. I initially did it because I had an awful work/life balance meaning my health was negatively affected, and then I became passionate about lifting and teaching others to do the same.
My strengths lie in paying attention to the little things that will help you improve your lifts. I’ll also be consulting on pregnant clients and new mums as well as helping people manage health conditions. This includes exercise adaptations and managing side effects of medication.”
Hi I’m Adam, I’ll be leading group coaching sessions and online coaching, helping you through your comp prep and I’m the go-to guy for questions about your training programme.
“I became a PT when I was just 18 because I wanted to learn how to train myself properly. For the last 10 years, I’ve spent so much time educating myself on the best possible ways to help people get stronger.
I’ll be writing the bulk of the training programmes. I use up to date methods to help you make progress with your strength and achieve new personal bests. As well as general strength, my areas of expertise include powerlifting and strongman training.”

On top of that, Kim holds extra certifications including pre and postnatal exercise, adapting exercise for health conditions, as well as a Level 4 in Nutrition Coaching.
Adam has completed a 6-month powerlifting coach development programme to further develop his already established skills to become an elite strength coach.
